I have dog toys spread all over my house - I thought this image was a good representation of what my floors always look like with scattered dog toys - until I just looked down and there are at least 5 toys on my bedroom floor!  I love having a puppy- they are so much fun!

Once again, I am going to try doing Project Life to document my year.  I have had a hard time making it past April, but have faith this year that I can keep up with it.  One of my goals this year is to take a picture in a manual setting on my camera daily, so that should help!  This year I am going to try the digital version of Project Life which I also think I will have more success with.

In order to help me with learning how to do the digital version, I signed up for a week long class with my sister - here's to learning something new!

Rockies Game

May 24th, 2011: I love watching live baseball and will take any opportunity to do so! My friend Heather and I thought it would be fun to go to a Rockies game after our monthly leadership meeting. We had a great time (even though it was a little cold and rainy at times) and the Rockies pulled it together for a win!!

Laura's Graduation

Friday May 6, 2011:  My cousin Laura walked in the UNC graduation ceremony tonight for her doctorate degree in instrumental conducting!  She will officially finish in June, but was able to walk tonight.  I am amazed by her dedication and drive.

Way to go Laura!!!!!!

Pelicans

I couldn't believe it when I drove by Parkwood Lake and there were 50+ pelicans.  Usually, there are about 5 pelicans on that lake, so I was suprised to see the large group that was there for a few days.

Sunday March 13, 2011:  I am so lucky to have a friend that is an amazing seamstress!  Today, Tara had four of us over to teach us how to use our sewing machines and helped us make a great bag (with her fabrics!).  We had a great afternoon and went home with a finished product...thanks Tara!

Girls Night Out

Saturday March 5, 2011:  The guys were having a guys weekend in Winter Park, so the girls decided to get together here at home.  We were also celebrating Sheri and Gina's birthdays!  We started with a hike in the early afternoon, then pedicures and manicures in the evening, followed by a yummy dinner and drinks.  Everyone had such a great time!
