March 19th: Jake found another one of his sparkly toy balls today and was having a lot of fun!! I love when he brings it back to me meowing the whole way with the ball in his mouth!

March 17th: Mom and I went to eat at Pita Pit today and I saw this sign on the door of the Tattoo shop next door and thought it was funny!!

March 16th: Mom brought out these letter magnets a few days ago and the girls love them! Today Zoe was playing with them and spelled her name out. At first, she had spelled it WEOZ, but had turned it around so we could read it!!

March 15th: Today I took a class at a local scrapbook store called Capture. It was a card making class using a set of clear stamps that I got with the class. I enjoy making cards, and needed a little inspiration. I had a lot of fun, and made some cute cards in the process.

March 14th: What a great day for a parade!! Jen, Jared, the girls and I went downtown for the St Paddy's Day Parade. It was so nice out, and the girls had a great time. We were able to see the real Cam the Ram and the fake Cam. This picture of the fake Cam is of him giving Addy a high five. What a fun time!

March 13th continued: When we got back to Mom and Dad's house after running errands, Addy didn't want to come inside, so she was throwing a fit in the laundry room and I couldn't resist taking some pictures!!! After she took a nap, she was much happier and she entertained me while eating her snack of vanilla pudding.

March 13th: I watched Addy today since she doesn't start with the new sitter until Monday. While she was taking her morning nap, I heard a really loud pecking noise at the back of Mom and Dad's house. I went out to see what it was, and it was this bird. By the time I got my camera out of it's bag, the bird had already flown into the neighbor's tree. Hopefully it stays away.....I'm sure it can cause some real damage.

March 10th: This is a picture of Addy in my car, I can't recall why I took it, probably because she looked so cute!!

March 9th: Another beautiful Colorado sunset! I couldn't resist taking a picture (while I was at a stop light of course!)!!

March 8th: I watched Zoe this afternoon while Jen, Jared and Addy went to meet a prospective sitter. Zoe hadn't showered yet, so that's what she wanted to do first, and these were taken as we were trying to decide what to wear for the rest of the day. She is always such a character!!

Mar 7th: We went to Bed Bath and Beyond today to look for a few things. When we got there, I remembered another visit where Zoe saw these egg cups for poaching and she said - "Look mommy..chi chi cups!". She thought they were a bra or something....and we about died laughing! I couldn't resist taking a picture of them!

Mar 5th: Jake got a hair cut yesterday...a lion's cut to be exact!! He won't let me brush him, so he has been getting mats lately and I thought he needed a hair cut. He looks so cute...just like a little lion!!

Mar 4th: This picture is from yesterday when Addy was at my house....I bought this catepillar for her for Christmas, but decided not to give it to her since she was getting so much other stuff. I never took it back though, and decided to pull it out today, and she loved it! I wish it wasn't so loud, but she isn't here that much, so I guess I can handle it!

Mar 3rd: Addy was a bit under the weather today, and I watched her at my house for a couple of hours before work so Jen could go into work and get some stuff done. She laid on the couch for a little bit, but was playing most of the time!

Mar 2nd: Jen and I made a run to Super Target to get a few things today and the girls rode next to each other in this cart. Addie has just gotten big enough that she can be buckled in safely, and she loves it!!

Mar 1st: Zoe loves to sing, and lately she really loves listening to the Hairspray broadway recording. We were in the car today on the way to the store and she had one of Jen's make-up brushes to use as a microphone and was singing her little heart out!! I hope she always keeps singing because she loves it so much!

Feb 28th: Mom took the girls for the morning/early afternoon so Jen could study and we ended up taking them to Jimmy John's for lunch and then to Walmart to grocery shop. Of course there were a few fits in the store, but we had a great day with them!

Feb 25th: I renewed my nursing license in September of 2007 and shortly after that, I couldn't find where I had put the wallet sized license. Well, I found out where I lost it....I got a call from the Treasure Box (local scrapbooking store) who was having a big sale and the clerk said someone found it at the bottom of a box. I must have been looking through my purse in the store and it must have fallen into the box. I can't believe I have it back after missing it for about a year!

Feb 23rd: I cleaned out my dresser and my closet today and this is what I am donating to Goodwill. I can't believe I had so much stuff that I wasn't wearing anymore. Hopefully someone else can enjoy all the clothes!

Feb 22nd: Anytime I have an empty box in the house, i know where to find Jake! He loves to lay in them no matter how big or how small....isn't he so cute!!??!!??

Feb 18th: I love my Cricut Expression!!!! I have had it for about a year now, and love all the things I can make with it. My friend Casey and I made bulletin boards at work with die cuts from the cricut and I have also made calendar signs for work as well. I can't wait to see what new cartridges are going to come out!

Feb 17th: All I have to say is Girl Scout Cookies!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered mine from Bridget at work this year. My favorite are the Somoas...with the lemon cremes coming in a close second. I love this time of year when we can have these little treats!

Feb 16th: I love my DVR and can't imagine life without it! I work in the evening, so I miss all of the primetime shows and am able to record them while I am gone and then watch when I get home from work, or before I go to work the next day. I don't know what I would do without it! I also love the fact that I don't really have to watch commercials anymore...love the fast forward!
Feb 14th: Today was Zoe's birthday party at Mom and Dad's house. There were about 10 kids there and they had a blast. I took pictures with Jen's camera that day, so I will post them later!

Feb 12th: Eye drops....I have had to use these since my original Lasik surgery in March of last year. I can't wait until I don't have to use them anymore! They are all over my house and the cats seem to think they are toys for them....not to mention how expensive they can be.

Feb 11th: I had an early meeting at work today and when I left, this is what I saw as I was waiting to turn onto Timberline from my street. I love mornings like this!
Feb 10th: Zoe's 4th birthday!! I met Jen and Zoe at the Silver Grill (or Grill Sil as Zoe likes to call it) for breakfast. This is Zoe's favorite place to go for breakfast. I wanted to take a picture of her on her birthday and to get her to smile had her say "Upside Down Show" (one of her favorite new shows).....and this is what I got...I love it!

Feb 9th: Zoe has learned so much since she has started going to preschool and can now write her name! I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it..she is growing up so fast.

Feb 8th: We got together for brunch with Aunt Patsy, Uncle Bob, Jen, Jared, Zoe Addy, Mom and Dad to celebrate birthdays. Zoe helped Mom open her gifts before opening her own. I got Zoe a Leapster2 game console...she loved it! Hopefully it will keep her busy on the plane next week on the way to Florida!

Feb 7th: I made this cake for a celebration we had for Mom, Zoe and Uncle Bob's birthdays. Uncle Bob's birthday was at the end of January, Mom's is tomorrow (8th) and Zoe's is Feb 10th. The icing was a little soft, so I couldn't do the roses that I was planning on doing, so I made big flowers instead.

Feb 6th: Jake loves these sparkly toy balls. He acts just like a dog...chasing and fetching them. He could play with them for hours if I kept throwing them for him.

Feb 5th: This is what my wallet usually looks like...a bunch of receipts that I need to record in my checkbook. I try to balance my checkbook every week, but sometimes it doesn't get done until bills are due!

Feb 4th: This is my number from when Jen and I did the Tri for the Cure this past August in Denver. It consisted of a 1/2 mile swim, 11 mile bike and 5K run (we walked!). We did it as buddies and finished together in 2 1/2 hours. I can't believe I finished, and can't wait to do it again this year!!
