March 7th: I woke up to a crisp, cool, foggy morning and decided to go to the Environmental Learning Center to walk around and take some pictures with my new camera. I was the only person out there and was able to get some great pictures. I decided to go out there at least once a season (especially since it is right down the street) and take pictures!

Feb 13th: I got my tax refund and of course it was burning a hole in my pocket! I have been wanting to upgrade to a DSLR camera for a while and finally had the chance to get one! I had done some research and decided on the Nikon D3000...and I love it! I can't wait to see what I can do with it. These are some pictures that I took today!

Feb 13th: Today we celebrated Zoe's birthday with her friends at this great place called Cool Beans. It is a place for kids to be imaginative and play! The kids had a great time!!

Feb 10th: I took Jake into Petsmart this morning for a haircut...he won't let me brush him, so he ends up getting mats in his hair. When I asked how he did, the groomer told me that he doesn't know he is a cat! I believe it...he loves to play fetch! He is definitely the cutest (I mean fiercest) cat around!!

Zoe got this vet set from Poppy and Grammy...the hit of the night. She even went and put her socks and shoes on by herself so she could go home and play with it!!

I got Zoe a Tinkerbell lip gloss set and she was jumping around when she opened it!

Feb 6th: We celebrated 3 birthdays tonight..Uncle Bob (75), Mom (58), and Zoe (5)! We had a great dinner at Mom and Dad's and had presents and cake and ice cream too! I am so fortunate to be able to see my family so often!

Of course, my tree wouldn't be complete without an owl!!

I don't have a stocking for myself at my house (it's at my mom and dad's), so I hang this sign on my stocking holder instead. Just a reminder of what the season should be about.

December 24: Wow, it has been a long time since I posted on here. Since it is Christmas Eve, I thought I would post pictures from my decorations around the house!

Oct 25th: There was a 24 hour contest today on the cricut.com website using the new Gypsy machine. The rules were: 1. You have 24 hourse to create (from midnight to midnight eastern time). 2. You can only use 3 cartridges - the 2 that come preloaded on them machine and then 1 more of your choice. 3. Be CREATIVE!!!!

I wasn't sure when I woke up this morning if I was going to participate...I didn't really have any ideas, but as the day went on, I finally got an idea! I went to Michael's around 2 to buy supplies, and worked until 9:15...cutting it close because I had to have the instructions typed in and posted by 10. After some trials and tribulations with the website, I finally got it posted. Now, the public gets to vote and the project with the most votes wins a trip to NYC and a $2000 gift card to the new Michael's in NYC!!!!!! I hope I get some votes!!
